<p>i did very minimal research in selecting the rank of my 6 colleges and am now considering UCSD and i am a bit concerned about what i've heard about this college.... i'm also wondering does what college you are in even really make that much of a difference in terms of your over all experience at UCSD?</p>

The GE's are a whole lot of fun to deal with.
Your AP credits will waive a whole bunch of the things though, and I'm pretty sure even your SAT will waive something.<br>
The dorms are old and bad, but you have less of a chance to get into a triple.
Humanities credits aren't fun.
Transfers are available after writing requirement is completed and after first year.</p>
