<p>I have some specific questions about getting to/from Stanford for a summer course:</p>
<p>Arriving (via SJC) on a Sunday afternoon (light traffic, I hope). What's the best way to get to Stanford from the airport? How long will it take?</p>
<p>Leaving (via SFO) on a Friday evening (probably heavy traffic) - (8:45pm flight). How can I get to the airport and what time should I leave to easily make the flight?</p>

<p>I'm assuming that you're taking public transportation. :]</p>
<p>Airport shuttle is better (faster/more convenient) then public transportation. It takes 20-30 minutes to get to the airports without major traffic. I would give it an hour with the traffic...</p>
<p>So are those time for EITHER airport? Are they somewhat the same distance? I'll check into the shuttle.</p>

<p>Yes. San Jose is slightly closer, but it's about the same distance (opposite directions).</p>
