I tought most schools the students residency status remains what it was when they started at the school. Is there a Florida State dept of education web site where this information might be listed?

You can double check with your school, but at my Ds state uni, as long as she stays enrolled and does not stop out, her residency remains as it was when she began, even if we were to move out of state. However, it could be school specific and you must be aware that he cannot take a semester off and still maintain residency!

thanks for your answers..
