I'm currently in 10th grade, and I'm thinking of applying for the 2009-2010 year; 11th grade. I live in Turkey and I'm currently in my last year of IGCSE and it's intertwined with a pre-IB program. My grades were in the A-D range last year, but they've gotten higher this year with quite a few more A's and B's (I'm not sure if I have any more C's - if I do, only 1 or so). I'm in a music-focused school, and it's an extended day school, so I have quite a few more lessons. I'm currently taking 17 different courses, which kind of explains my lower-than-good grades. I'm in the school band and choir. I play the flute, alto saxophone, different types of guitar, and I recently stopped playing the violin due to too much to do. I play volleyball regularly, and I'm a competitive rider, with one city-wide intermediate first place medal, and one city-wide advanced 3rd place medal. I'm doing the youth award, and I'm participating in the school play as well as 3 extracurricular activities. I got accepted into the international AMIS girls' choir festival a year ago. I'm going to require financial aid.

I'm not sure if that's enough info, but I wanted to know what boarding schools I should consider applying to with a high enough chance of getting in. Exeter's been my dream... should I even bother applying to it? I kind of feel that my stats are lower than most of the people that apply, and with a 20% acceptance rate, I highly doubt I'll be accepted, so I don't know if it's worth the 100$.

Thanks.
