<p>Where you are from doesn’t matter for need-based except that you may not be eligible for some state grants.</p>
<p>“Generous” really depends on your definition. UT does not promise to meet 100% of demonstrated need, but they tend to do so. However, they utilize loans a lot–many people don’t think of this as meeting their financial need, but it’s a valid form of finanicial aid.</p>
