Need blind for transfers?

<p>The title really says it all. CMC is my dream school, and I'm applying to transfer in next year, but I have an efc of 0. Is CMC need blind for transfers?</p>

<p>completely. an admissions officer told me they make their decisions then do the financial stuff after.</p>

<p>That’s so incredibly disappointing. There’s no way I’ll be admitted if they consider finances.</p>

<p>I think the validity of that posting needs to be justified by more than just word of mouth…</p>

<p>Moving away from being need-blind for 20 students sounds weird to me… but then again with the state of the economy, I’m not sure.</p>

<p>They over accepted last year with 60 with need blind and this year all the 5C’s did take a hit from the economy. All im saying this report does not sound improbable… as sad as it sounds. Plus the Claremont Conservative is pretty credible.</p>

<p>when are the decisions coming out, not that I think I’ll be getting accepted considering the change to 20 from last year’s 60-80(if i remember correctly)</p>

<p>I believe May 15 is the day for both CMC and Pomona, in case you applied to both.</p>
