need blind to internationals?may apply to local applicants as well

<p>Is this real or it is just a propaganda? Since there is a check box on the common app(whether or not apply need based FA),i think the schools would rather choose the people who does not need FA most of the time.</p>

<p>No, it is not just “propaganda”. Many schools have made significant strides towards not discriminating based on financial situation, and therefore are need-blind. </p>

<p>The situation for Internationals, however, is not the same. Only five schools are need-blind for them. </p>

<p>Actually many schools are need-blind for int’ls. What you may mean is that only a few schools are need blind AND meet need for int’ls.</p>
