<p>I think they’re need-blind, but not have-blind if that makes sense.</p>
<p>Colleges are either need blind or not need blind. Boston University is not a need blind institution, nor do they meet the full demonstrated need of all students. If you need financial aid to attend, by all means apply for it. I do not think that you will be severely disadvantaged applying for aid, if at all because it is expensive to attend.</p>
<p>BU is a need blind institution according to its admissions website. The school does not view your application adversely because of your need. What I meant by “have-blind” is that BU is going to be aware of some wealthy students and may offer them admission because of that.</p>
