need books for cr work

i pretty much exhausted pr, barrons, kaplan, blue book back for the jan 07 sat but im hoping to get a better CR score this october..

i did pick up the 10 rs book for cr reading.. are there any other suggestions?

Well first of all what is your method or approach when you do critical reading?
My approach is to read Introduction, if there is one, then skim first by reading first sentence of every paragraph and last sentence of first and last paragraph. As I go through I mark important details like keywords such as: but, although, tc. I also mark works describing authors tone. Then I go back and quickly skim and mark through the entire passage. When I work out a questions I do line reference questions first then general. When you are picking answers make sure that everyword of the answer can be found somehow in the passage. If even one word is off, then the answer is wrong. That's basically what I do and I only miss 2 or 3 questions on passages. Overall keep practicing and review how you got the question correct and why you got it wrong. Well that's my advice to you. I'm also studying for the SAT and PSAT, since I'm going to be a Jr. this year. CR is a pain, what kills me are the sentence completion questions. GL.

BTW, try the SAT Online course, it has tons of new questions, quizes, and tests.

hmm can anyone else comment on that strat. of if any 1 word is off the question is wrong?
