*Due to my school's weird scheduling system, I could not fit an AP Bio class in my schedule and IB Bio isn't enough for SAT II. So I studied the whole curriculum by myself (yes this is true), and my teacher told me a 680 is very respectable especially since I studied independently. I will also be taking the AP Bio test in May 2010, studying on my own again.

**The National English Honor Society was not available in my school until my senior year

***IB Math HL is, according to my teacher, the hardest math class offered in the county and also possibly THE hardest overall class in the county. Same goes for AP physics C, but it's probably not as hard as IB Math HL.

Your academic load is impressive. However, I’m afraid that your extracurriculars seem forced because you picked them up as a junior, for the most part. Also, your race is going to hurt you a bit in applications. Your internships are very respectable, though, and you will succeed wherever you end up. Good luck!

my ECs weren’t forced. If you’re talking about my honor societies, it’s because only juniors and seniors are allowed to apply, and idk why :P.

but yeah thanks, and good luck to you too.

-UPenn-reach
-Wash. U. in St. Louis-reach
-UChicago-low reach but it depends on your essays
-Johns Hopkins-low reach
-UVA-match
-UNC Chapel Hill-match/low reach depending if you’re in state/out of state
-Michigan-match
-U. of Wash.-in
-UMD, college park-in

you’re pretty well rounded but you need to have awesome essays if you want to increase your chances for those reaches.

I think you’ve got a good shot at all of them, but it depends how you market yourself. It’s hard to tell from this what your passions are; if you are good at the sax or something like that, you could send in a supplement. But the way you put everything, it’s hard to pick out the stuff you’d like to pursue in college.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/835315-chance-son-celebrity.html

music isn’t really a “passion;” it’s really more like a hobby or supplement like you said. I just want to be, as anyone would say, well-rounded, indulging myself all sorts of activities.

but my main passion is science; that’s why I did my internship and took the time to document my research.

but anyways thanks, and good luck to you too

u chicago / penn / JHU good chances assuming you write fantastic essays

probably in at UNC if you’re in-state. can be ridic hard if you’re OOS

good luck! : )

please chance back?

well if you’re good at music id definitely send in a supplement but id say uve got a good shot at all of these schools. upenn is just a little iffy, but it is for everyone

Please chance me!!!
