I go to a new school (first graduating class this year), and it is taking us a long time to get our APs approved by the state. I have taken all of the offered advanced classes, however, and I have heard that schools will not penalize students if their schools don't have APs. The school I formerly went to was new, too, and in the same situation.

If the classes ever materialize, next year I will take:
AP Euro
AP Calculus AB
AP Lit

Ranked from most to least competitive,
What are my chances at:

Stanford
Brown
Pomona (College, not CSU)
Amherst
Claremont McKenna
UCLA (School of Theater only)
Bard
Vassar
Oberlin
Reed
Pitzer
Occidental
Bryn Mawr
Sarah Lawrence
Lewis and Clark
UC Irvine (unsure of selectivity)

Potential majors: Theater, English Lit, Creative Writing, Historical Linguistics, and Liberal Arts

The list is very crude. I haven't really narrowed it yet or looked for other schools. If anyone could suggest a few for me, that would be awesome. So far the only school I am really considering "safety" is Lewis and Clark, and I need a few more safety schools. I'm really looking for a school that is strong in academics, has a good theater program, and has a creative, friendly environment. I'm also trying to keep it small, preferably less than 10,000 people. I am not really looking at conservatories or conservatory programs with the exception of UCLA and a few others that don't consider stats. I'm trying to stay west coast if I can, but I am looking at east coast, too.

P.S. If anyone has any suggestions for community service I can do this summer (not a community service person), do tell.

Thank you!
