Need college recommendations

<p>I am a hopeful future international student and I have my heart set on two particular colleges but they both have very selective admission policies and I'd like to have other options but I'm having trouble finding other colleges that I'm excited about.</p>

<p>I am looking for colleges in the preferably Northeast/New England but not necessarily so, with great academics, a good campus/social scene, not a small LAC but not massive either. I'd like to hear about very selective schools as well as those that are less so.</p>

<p>What are your boundaries for “not small” to “not massive”? Similarly, what do you understand as “very selective”? What are your stats?</p>
