need computer help please

<p>My desktop wallpaper automatically got changed and it now shows a black screen with a virus warning message saying "Your computer might be infected with Spyware or Adware". I ran spybot and ad-aware but it didn't get rid of it. I went to google, found an image, and clicked "set as background." It works for now, but i don;t think it fixed the problem. Also, whenever i open internet explorer it takes me to "<a href="http://www.bestwebslinks.com"&gt;http://www.bestwebslinks.com&lt;/a&gt;" even though i have set a blank homepage, and whenever i go to a website it takes me back to it. Also, random pop-ups are coming and this program called PsGuard got automatically installed. I ran the HiJackThis and this is my log:</p>

and get service pack 2 and a firewall....its appears that you have no firewall...you have bitdefender and I am not very familar with that program....</p>

<p>a friend told me to download smitRem.exe and run it during safe mode. I tried it and the "warning!" desktop wallpaper disappeared and my internet works again so i think it fixed the problem. I'll run the crap cleaner and housecall thing now and delete the psgaurd.exe</p>

<p>Just download Spyware Guard. It looks for different stuff then Spybot and Adaware, and will look to find stuff such as if you internet has been hijacked.</p>

WinPatrol is also a good bet. It has real time monitoring for changes.</p>
