NEED East Coast Safety Schools

What are some good east coast safety schools? Here is a quick sum up of my stats:

SAT's: 700's, with one 660 in Math.
GPA: 4.4 Unweighted, 3.8 Weighted
EC's, recommendations and essays will all be good. Go to a good high school in California.

Things I generally want in a school are diversity, a beautiful campus, between 2 and 8 thousand undergraduates, good academics and either a short drive to a big city or a cute college town nearby. As a safety, the acceptance rate should be between 50 and 75%.

So far I've looked at University of Vermont (not diverse enough), St. Mary's College of Maryland (too isolated) and Ursinus College (too small). Can anyone else point me in alternative directions?

St. Michael’s is in Burlington. I am not sure about how many students it has, but how about Providence College? Also, Ithaca College.

Stony Brook?
Pretty diverse (about 33% Caucasian)
About an hour from NYC. Located on Long Island
More undergrads than you want ~ 14000
Not sure about the campus beauty
Acceptance rate ~47%

What about Johnson and Wales in Providence,RI? I think they have about 9,000 students though. Its right down the hill from Brown and its in the like downtown area of Providence.

Look at Drew. Nice campus with nearby train access to NYC.

Hood College in MD. Beautiful, close to both DC and Baltimore.
they also have a lovely Honors Program.

Syracuse University fits most of your criteria.

You have a typo:

Is your GPA 4.4 weighted/3.8 uw
or
Is your GPA 3.4 weighted/3.8 uw?

Manhattan College (NY) and Hobart and William Smith Colleges (NY).

Ithaca College is in Ithaca. Fordham would offer NYC. Brandeis could be somewhere around there, and offers Boston. UMass-Amherst, and the other non-Amherst 5-college schools could work.
