<p>Hi. I'm an Asian American hopeful for Duke, USC, Michigan, Northwestern, Notre Dame, and UT Austin most likely interested in pre-med. </p>

<p>GPA - 3.8 (4.15 weighted only by AP classes) Unweighted in a US News top 15 HS</p>

<p>Rank - School does not rank</p>

<p>Courses - All vigorous to the max with AP's; took 5 AP courses up to now and planning to take 4 AP's senior year</p>

<p>SAT - 770 on Math, 710 on Writing, and 640 on Reading - Total: 2120
SAT II - 620 in Math IIC, 630 in U.S. History</p>

<p>EC:</p>

<p>-Been playing music from the piano and the guitar to the tuba since the age of 6
-Marching band Section leader 10th/11th
-Ensemble Club leader 10th/11th
-Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps (Only monthly camps since I couldnt do it during the summer)
-Science Olympiad
-French Club
-Varsity Track/Basketball during 7th/8th middle school (Couldnt do it in HS because of Marching band)
-Planning to do more clubs senior year if it helps</p>

<p>NASA Tour Guide 9th-10th grade summer
Tutor/Part-Teacher for a Community college last summer</p>

<p>Intern for NIH research facility at the University (Not mentioning which to remain anonymous, but it's a reputable one) - During 11th grade and this summer</p>

<p>All-state band 10th and 11th Grade (principal chair on 11th grade)
Top 10% state math exam
Research report's abstract published/generalized at the Univeristy magazine
AP Scholar
Leonard Falcone international competition semifinalist
Planning to enter the intel talent search and get to semi-finals </p>

<p>hhmmm.... You seriously need to reconsider retaking the SAT's or take the ACTs</p>

Duke: somewhat reach... i really cant be sure
never heard of UT Austin
Notre Dame: ?</p>

<p>It really wouldn't hurt to retake the SAT to improve your CR score :D You're ECAs are good..rock them in your application :P</p>

<p>Thanks for the replies. I am planning to take the ACT. UT Austin is University of Texas at Austin and Notre Dame is University of Notre Dame. </p>

<p>Apologies on the SAT II's. It's actually 720 on Math IIC and 730 on U.S. History. I somehow rushed through the part when I was checking it over.</p>
