need GC's support

Hi all,
I've gotten the idea that my guidance counselor isn't going to fully support me in admissions at my top choice school. It's not that i've done something wrong or that we don't have a good relationship, it's just that she's indicated that my chances are low and that I should apply somewhere else ED--in other words, there are other applicants from my school that she wants to support before me. From everything I've seen, I have the stats and ecs to be a solid candidate, but I don't think i'll get in without her help. What should I do to help my case & change her mind?
oh and to put this into context, I go to a private school where about 20% go to ivies each year and the advising process is more hands on than it is at larger schools. I've actually heard that sometimes admissions officers will call her and have her rank the applicants, but this may not be true.

Thanks!

I would explain to her that applying ED would actually give you more of a chance and that logically, it would make most sense.

Unless you are a feeder school, the admissions officers calling is a rumor. =/
