I am looking for a graduate law school with focuses in Constitutional law and Uniform Commercial Code law for my continued education. Yale, Stanford, and Harvard are currently ranked #1, 2, and 3 by US News for Law schools; although, Stanford would be nearest in location. I am definitely open to other schools, assuming the curriculum offers my area of interest.

You might have better luck posting on the law school forum.

^^^ agreed. Why do people post law school or grad school stuff in undergrad threads? Its very perplexing. Perhaps international students who don’t understand our system? I know in many European countries they can go direct to Law School and Medical School after their Baccalaureate 12th grade examination, if they are admitted. But not in the USA.

Just wondering.

People don’t make mistakes where you’re from, Sovereigndebt? I had no idea you were so perfect! My mistake for misunderstanding. My sincerest apologies for causing you the grave consequence of spending twelve seconds to read my thread. Thanks for bringing nothing useful to the table.

Thanks for the appropriate redirection, Sacchi.

^^^^ goodness gracious. A bit tense? The Law is a professional school, not a graduate school. Harvard, Yale and Stanford are the top 3 law schools in the country. The chances of getting in are very, very narrow, unless your LSAT is in the 99th percentile. I am not kidding. Even for minorities its extremely difficult. UCC Law and Constitutional Law are about as opposite an area of study as Oil Drilling from Environmental Law. So I wonder what your “logic” is? Just asking.

I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. And how old are you? Do you have your undergraduate degree yet? From where? Taken the LSAT yet?

Sorry you set such low standards for yourself. Constitutional law and UCC law are not so far away from each other as you may think. These are the only two laws governing a person: God’s Law/Common Law and Uniform Commercial Code. The Constitution is based on God’s Law, and the UCC governs any transaction between parties. Therefore, the only things restricting human actions are these two sets of laws. Does your “logic” follow?

Common law isn’t “God’s Law”. And when you say “UCC law” perhaps you mean to say statutory law, as there are many statutes “restricting human actions” that have nothing to do with the UCC–to give simplistic examples, the law that says you can’t drive until you are 16, and the law that says you must pay interest on rental security deposits.

^^^…momma we have a serious ■■■■■ here…and someone who really doesnt have a clue. I smelled it a mile away and now its confirmed. I also suspect its some kid who hasnt completed his/her undergraduate degree and may well be a foreign national. He/she is deluded to think about Harvard and Yale Law if they can’t discern between Constitutional Law and UCC Law, and then interjects God’s (moral) Law. Just some high school wannabe.

Unfortunately, this happens on CC from time to time. Next?
