<p>do freshman year i took latin I, and this year i take latin II honors. but i am beginning to not enjoy it as much anymore. i took latin to learn derivatives, culture, history, help with french which i also take, and i was not expecting the vast amount of grammar that is involved with it. next year in latin III honors, and the year after that, latin IV honors, is a of of reading and poetry something that i am not really interested in. with this the only other thing i would accept to do is to start ancient greek my junior year. the year after that would be ancient greek II honors. my concern is that next year, if i take greek, i wont be able to attain any honors credit for my gpa which needs to go up a lot more. but my other concern is that if i do take latin III honors, i will not do very well. also if i do end up taking greek, will colleges ook down upon this since i did not take all four years of either classical language, or will it be fine since i also took french al of middle school, and all of high school, where i have been in the highest french class for my grade (9-french III Honors, 10-french IV honors, 11-french V honors, 12-ap french). plus i do a little outside german, which i am hoping to do more of...please helppp!!! thanks!</p>

<p>Don’t stick with a class you hate. Finish out the year with Latin and then move onto Greek if that interests you. If not, then just stay with French.</p>

do what you love. You will do better in a class that you enjoy.
Latin is okay, but if you do not love it you will drown in it.</p>
<p>So do whatever is easier for you.</p>
<p>Stick with what you have passion about. If you do, you may be able to write essays that have meaning and importance on your future applications.
