anyone got some advice

It doeant matter, depends on the physics. Is it general or Calculas based. My school has both.

I really would not worry about it. I never took it in HS and im an Enginering student, I didnt take Calc either.

You will need calculus more than prior physics experience.

They teach calculus based physics as if you have a calculus background... which you should since it's a prerequisite for the class. Your performance in physics greatly depends on the professor or lecturer and how well they explain the material.. but if you get a good one, you should be able to do fine without a previous background.. if you get a bad one, then the background definatly helps.

Some college offer a first-year physics course for people who have not taken it in highschool.

some also offer physics for lifesciences (still calc based, but with an understanding that everyone's premed) . . .
maybe you could enroll in a local community college or something, wouldn't hurt your college app's either
