Need Help/advice About Pr Sat Subject Bio E/m Prep Book

Are its practice tests realistic? Because I took them and did well but then I did Kaplan and some of the questions were really weird (and much harder overall). Is Kaplan more like the real test or are their practice tests too hard (or worthless)? Please help me! I am stressing out about this exam since it is so soon and because I need to do well (especially since my SAT score was not so strong!).

Sorry, I meant to say are PR's tests realistic.

help anyone?????

The PR tests are more realistic than the Kaplan's. In fact, some questions from the 2nd PR test were the exact same ones on the May SATII Bio.

Thank you so much! kaplan just seems to have too much irrelevant information. Plus, I like the way PR explains it!

I don't know, I think Kaplan is better. I used Kaplan and the questions were quite similar to the actual test. Kaplan has a lot of information, but any of it may appear on the test. I got an 800 after reading Kaplan (my scores on practice tests were 750, 760, and 800, so I'd say it's not that much harder than the actual test, if at all).

I just got my score back - 800, and on the PR tests I got a 720 and 670. But in my opinion Kaplan was even worse. The lab questions took me forever. I actually finished in 60 minutes, whereas in PR and the actual SAT i finished in 35 - 40.

I'd go with PR.

PR over sparknotes?

I also used both and got an 800. The PR helped the most in understanding concepts and the Kaplan is good for details. For me, the PR was most useful because i got all the details from my AP Bio class. If you're not taking AP Bio, get both the Kaplan and PR.

How does Barrons compare?

how much detail is actually on the test though?
i have the kaplan and the mcgraw hill (don't get it, it explains concepts well and doesn't take long at all to go through - i did it in two days, but the concepts are elementary and don't help much)... and kaplan seems a bit too detailed, while mcgraw hill doesn't go into detail much at all... and their practice tests are really different too...
