So I always get A's and B's, and i took ap biology this year(im a junior) and i got a 68% in the class(D+)!

Does this mean? Will i make up for it if i get an A next semster? Do i have to take classes over the summer? How will UCs look at this poor grade?? Any advice??

If you got a D, really try hard and try to make up for it. Try to study more, or talk to the other students in the class. The teacher is mainly the one you should talk to. Ask your teacher about tutoring opportunities and or additional help.

Yeah i know, but my point is do i still get credit for the class? or what do i need to do to get credit for it?? will it be okay with UCs if i have one D in my trascript

A D+ leaves a mark but if you really change things up next semester it can compensate at least a little. It’s unfortunate that even if you got a hundred it would only average out to an 84 so. So if you get a B that’s well within the C range. But depending on how your school reports the grade (if separately shown from each semester) than you can show that though you did bad the first sem. you can still pick it up. If the report averages both semesters, at least bring it up to C if not higher and hopefully that’s the only blemish which other things like ECs and SAT compensate for.
