need help bad

i was gonna go to compton community college but am reconsidering. i might go way up to city college of san francisco for college instead. its a community college. im dead broke, i dont have a job in san francisco, and i dont know how im gonna afford to live there.

i just wanna get out the hood for a while.

theres no campus housing. im broke. how can i do this?

■■■■■…??

right… can i get someone thatll actually offer some help??

Is there a CC that you can commute to that’s in a better neighborhood? Something that would let you keep your job and home where you are now? The other thing you could do is look for a job to move to SF first, and once you’ve got that squared away, then start at that CC.

yea but i just wanna get outta la for a couple years. if i stay and go to college in la then i would be staying at home. i dont wanna stay at home so then i would have to move out and if find a place to stay in a hood that the gang from my hood is beefing with then that puts me in danger. i dont gangbang but the fact that im from a certain hood is reason for a gang that my hood is beefing with to be all over me.

im sure i could find a job in sf. but it would be minimum wage work at a store or something cuz i got no experience in anything but stocking shelves… and im only 19. thats where im lost. i dont know how i would be able to afford living there.

Tough choices. I wish you well in making them. Obviously I don’t know your situation so I won’t try to give you much advice. I will encourage you, though, to start college somewhere and stay enrolled every single semester until you get a degree. Even if it’s just a single class, don’t let a semester go by without earning some credit towards that degree.

Good luck.
