Need help - Biology/Biotech schools in northeast

I need help with a college list. My daughter wants to major in a biology related field (Biology, Biotech, Biomedical Engineering, etc). Northeast, (we live in NH).

Class rank: 6/504
GPA: 4.0 (unweighted)
SAT: 1850 (will retake a couple more times to get this up)
Track team 4 years
honor society
part time job
lots of other stuff

She wants a college with great school spirit. She would like to run track if possible (not sure if she's fast enough for Division 1). Schools with great merit aid would help significantly.

Thanks in advance!

Bucknell has Biology major, Biomedical Engineering minor. Maybe Colgate for Biology. Syracuse, maybe. Boston College.

I'm applying to Colgate and Amherst to go into Molecular Biology. I highly recommend the second because of its 5-college consortium. As a female, she might be interested in Wellesly too.

what about carnegie mellon? they have a great program for what shes interested in!

Biology is one of the most popular majors at Mount Holyoke in MA. Don't forget Swarthmore (does PA count as Northeast?)

Might look at Holy Cross-strong biology program, lower Div.1 track, and great school spirit.

Good suggestions so far. Anyone else? BTW, we're willing to venture out a little farther than the Northeast for the right fit, or for stellar financial aid.

Thanks.

University of Rochester
Case Western

I'm really into biochem and Dartmouth is one of the few schools that offer this major...I dunno but their bio department seems pretty good
