I strongly encourage you not to waste your time with San Jose State. The school is very non-traditional, in the sense that it is a major commuter school and there are tons of adult students. Also the academics aren't that great. SJSU's reputation in California (at least in SoCal), is that it is just a step above community college.

I would stick with the UC's, Private Schools, or Cal Poly SLO, San Diego State, Chico, and CSU Long Beach if you plan on going to school in California.

California isn't really what drew me to the school, I heard it was pretty good in journalism and photography. Is San Diego State known for journalism or photography?

San Diego State is mostly known for business.

Anyways, I think your grades/act scores are too good for any cal states.

And while Indiana is pretty easy to get into, It has a top 10 program. Here is the course list. Do they have enough photojournalism classes for what you want?

The class list looks good, but the location is really killing it for me. I don't want to exclude a school simply because of the location, but I also don't really want to spend 4 years of my life at a place that I hate.

Anybody know of a site where I could get information on the photography and journalism programs at University of Arizona, University of Indiana and the University of Miami? Those see to be like the most possible 3 for me right now.
