thanks. I am just not that excited about the school as much as I am for Temple but I think you are right its better to go visit before judging and I think thats what I am going to do.
Thanks a lot @Goodkidsdad.
Yep. Pros and cons at both. Both are urban.
Being “in the system” at IUPUI make sense. Temple being a residential campus is great too. A different feel.
I got my MBA at St Joesphs in Philadelphia and really liked it. I also got my undergraduate at IU, a traditional campus.
But my sons experience at IUPUI has been more fulfilling in one year than any of my experiences. It has changed a lot…for the better.
Take a look.
Do you have any chance of getting a green card in the next few years?
Not only will you have serious problems getting into a med school, but even if somehow you did, the problem would surface again when it comes to residencies.
thx for the input @mom2collegekids.
I don’t really know about my chances of getting a green card but I think their are pretty low. I checked and the best way is to get a masters degree or to find a job contract in the US that is why I am trying to pick a safer path by choosing the Clinical Laboratory major as it will increase my chances of finding a job than graduating with a Biochemistry degree and also give me more experience in case I still wanna go to med school by my senior year of College.
