If you want to stick around TN, try Vanderbilt. It might be a reach, but you do stand a chance, especially if you do better on the ACT than the SAT.

Hmm other schools...if you want to be bold, the University of Southern California is always a good private, because they have so much money to throw around for scholarships. There's NYU and Syracuse, Carnegie Mellon, and probably endless others I could name.

What are your interests? What classes do you enjoy in school, and do you have a possible major? In what location would you like the school to be -- rural, urban, suburban, and any particular state?

You really need to give more information than just your stats.

Yeah, I want to major in Pre-med or Biology. I kinda like science and like an urban/ maybe Subunban location. So far my public schools are Michigan, Ucla, and ohio. thxs

bumpie bumper some more opinion would help thxs

I'd say save your money and don't apply to UCLA oos.

hey thxs
any more opinions for private schools?

Emory, Tufts, Boston U, Case Western, Haverford, Claremont McKenna, Occidental, Reed

Lehigh, Lafayette, Bucknell . . .

I would also recommend to you Fordham University.

Case Western? Carnegie Mellon?

Carnegie Mellon and Johns Hopkins are great choices. Both are top tier elite and had the top increases in applicants last year with 23% and 20%.

Are you looking for merit money or will you qualify for need based aid or doesn't it matter?
