Need help choosing between colleges! (U of I, Marquette university, SLU, and RPI)

I got accepted to the following colleges for my biomedical engineering major…
Saint Louis University (Largest scholarship)
Marquette University (Large Scholarship)
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Find out tomorrow, but they flew me over, so i doubt that I won’t get in, and if i get rejected it’ll just make things easier)

And I also got into the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Small scholarship) general studies.

After biomed, I want to go to medical school. So, my brother told me that I should go to SLU because they have medical connections, and I would be able to do research in my major starting freshmen year (which really interests me). On top of that their scholarship covers a lot of tuition, and I am a finalist in their MLK scholarship. This is really important to me because I come from a low-income family and would not be able to pay for college. But the rankings keep stopping me from committing, SLU is a top 100 for biomed, Marquette a top 60, and RPI a top 30. Should I really care about the rankings? Especially since I am going to attempt to get into medical school.

Also side note, I have considered U of I, but I heard it is really hard to transfer into my desired major, so run the risk of not getting into engineering again and being stuck at a school not doing the major that I want forcing me to transfer. I don’t think going to U of I is worth the risk, but the rankings keep messing with me. Can anyone help me get my mind out of rankings and help me make a choice? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been to Saint Louis University, and I think you’ll like it there. Not only is it in the heart of Missouri, but you’ll be near top ranked schools like Washington University in Saint Louis and many others. You’ll definitely have more doors open to Medical School if you stick to SLU.
