Need Help Choosing College to apply !!!

Hey there,

I am a rising 12th grader. I have a 3.0 UW and a 3.3 Weighted GPA. I go to a very competitive high school in the top 100 in the nation. I have taken 3 AP classes so far and will be taking 3 more next year, and have passed all my AP exams. The reason for my very low GPA was that freshman and sophomore year I slacked off completely and got below a 3.0 every semester. I realized during junior year that i was on the verge of throwing away my life, and i began to take my education seriously. I ended that semester with 3.4 and finished the next semester with a 4.02 GPA. I realize that my GPA is low, but it is on a strong upward trend.

My first SAT was 1760, but i am retaking it and should get a 2000.

I have wrestled 4 years high school, Varsity letter 3 times, county 5th place and 3rd in my region. I was in the interact club and environmental club.

I live in Georgia and am applying to University of Pittsburgh, Northeastern University, University of Massachusetts (Amherst), University of Georgia, and University of Washington, Seattle.

I am thinking about studying Law. Does anyone know any good colleges within my range and if I have a chance at being accepted to these?

Good chances at UMass. Maybe for Pitt. Reach for Northeastern. Not sure on UW. Some others to possibly check into are Purdue, Ohio University, Missouri, Syracuse, Colorado State, Oregon and Colorado. Best of luck!

thanks a lot for the advise, im looking into Syracuse also. How about UGA and Ohio State
