Need Help Choosing (ED/EA, etc.)

OK, so here's my list of schools so far:

Stanford
Notre Dame (Legacy)
Michigan
Florida (Resident)
Washington University in St. Louis
UPenn
Northwestern
...and one other top tier along the lines of the above...I have yet to pick it lol...

Basically, without posting any stats, I can say I'm a good candidate for the majority of these schools (although the tops are all crapshoots :P). However, I am having trouble picking between them! I need any and all opinions, especially in choosing EA/ED because the deadlines are down the road, and also that last school slot. In general, I'm looking to go to a school with top-notch academics, but also a fun side (Div I athletics helps too, although I know WashU is the exception to this rule). I wouldn't mind if the ladies are good looking too :P. Any comments? Thanks!

Choosing ED/EA depends on you. Where do you want to go? What do you love about those schools? ED is a binding contract. You cant have someone else make the decision for you! If you dont know where you want to go the most, then you might not want to apply ED.

^^^Very true, but the reason I'm debating over it so much is just because the statistics don't lie. The admission rates for ED/EA are a significant amount higher than regular admit (for HYPS like 12% versus 30%). I dunno though, I like all the schools! I honestly can't say as of this moment that I like one school over another. I'm making two more visits to Penn and Northwestern to see if that changes though. Then again, I could end up going all regular. Ack, this whole process is so annoying lol...

If you can't pick one that you love enough to apply ED, apply to whichever ones have EA.

If you can answer the question which school would you most like to attend, then don't ED. That Leaves Stanford norte dame, michigan and florida. The state schools can be applied to on a rolling basis (not 100% sure on Florida). Norte Dame is EA and Stanford is SCEA, so you cant apply to both. Its more likely that you'll get into Norte Dame, due to legacy and less selective.

I'd say the last school for you criteria is Vanderbilt. DI, hot chicks, and relatively the same in presige.
