So bear with me.

So I went through this bad phase in hs, where i pretty much lost sense of who I was and had a lot of negative influences. However, I did spectacular soph and junior year (from a 75 average to a 95). i plan to talk about the good influences that came in my life, but theres two and i dont know which to talk about. the first is going back to my home country (ive always been ashamed of my culture and my name, i was born there but never felt connected to it until i went there ). In my home country, I met all of my family, saw my birth place, saw very poor children desperate and trying to survive everyday. it really opened my eyes to were I came from.

the other is me working in a lab. (however I started this the end of sophomore year when i already was doing well for a year). working in a cancer lab helped me in so many ways- bre responsible..it pretty much helped me developed in a mature person (exp because of my influential mentor). it also corrolates with my work with the american cancer society but the thing is
EVERYONE SAYS THIS TYPE OF ESSAY IS SO CLICHE.
so yeah idk.

thanks a lot
