need help converting raw scores to scaled

hey i know this sounds really absurd.
but i need help converting raw scores into scaled scores.
the BB gives a wide range of scaled score for a raw score and i'm confused what actually does that mean.

i just gave my first practice test and got the raw scores CR:53, Maths : 51, Writing : 40 with a supposedly 8 on the essay.
the BB says i'll be getting CR:610-690, Maths:700-780, writing:620-750
could anyone narrow down the range to a more estimable scale?

The wide range represents the possible curves given on the actual test. A good estimate is to just take the average (i.e., 650, 740, 680-690)

Try googling it. its pretty simple. here are some fo the link i got from googling.
this is from 2007-2008 but it will still give you a good estimate of your score
