need help deciding between AP physics Mechanics and Electricity and Magnetism

Hi guys,
So my school offers both of the AP physics C classes and I am not sure about which one to take.
I would like to go into electrical/computer engineering in college (I’m not aiming for any high colleges, if that matters)
Which one is harder?
My teacher said the magnetism and electricity is harder.
Right now, I’m signed up for mechanics, only because my friends taking it too and she is the only friend I have who is taking any AP physics next year. Should I let that influence me? I feel like it shouldn't make a difference.
What do you think?
Thank you in advance

I honestly couldn’t recommend that you take E&M before Mechanics. I feel like E&M uses ideas that are foundational to Mechanics. You made a good choice. If possible self study or co-enroll in E&M so that you can take the exam.

I second the above opinion. Unless you have a foundation in physics already, E and M would be difficult with taking Mechanics since it incorporates a lot of ideas from Mechanics.
