<p>I'm confused. I don't know where I want to go to school or what I want to major in. I love history, but I want a job in 4 years. I'm thinking about a business major. I've been accepted to Elon, Uinversity of South Carolina and College of Charleston. I like the big time sports and overall college experience I believe SC has; I love the city of Charleston and Elon seems like a real up and coming school. Any and all thoughts would be appreciated.</p>
<p>Many years ago I went to MUSC in Charleston and I have got to say that I <em>loved</em> living in Charleston. It is such a beautiful, interesting city. There is so much to do - walking tours, visiting the plantations, awesome food. What a great place to court, too - my dh and I had a fantastic time there!</p>
<p>It's funny because 2 years ago those were the same 3 schools my daughter was choosing from ... she ended up at USC and loves it.
Her reasons were: after 2 overnights at Elon she already felt that she would out grow the size of the school. She liked it very much but was just concerned about the size.
CofC - She just didn't feel as "safe" on the campus ( a personal feeling, not based on facts about campus safety or anything). She was also a little disappointed that they didn't have a football team.
USC- She liked the campus and the school spirit and the size. Gamecock football is a great time. There are tons of classes to choose from and always something to do. </p>
<p>I would have been happy for her to attend any of the 3 as I liked them all!
