Need help deciding where to enroll?

I'm planning on majoring in business, and I've been accepted/waitlisted to the following colleges. I've pointed out a few pros and cons.

Accepted:
University of New Hampshire
Pros- I live in NH, tuition is cheap
- Whittemore school of business there is decent.
- Friends will be there
- Close to home (45-60 minutes depending on traffic)
Cons- Friends will be there
May be too much of a party school from what I've heard.

University of Vermont
Pros- Nice community in Burlington
Cons- In the middle of no where.

University of Connecticut
Pros- Sporting events (Basketball)
- Big school, lots of people
Cons- Size of school could be overwhelming
Storrs is also in the middle of no where.

Stonehill College
Pros- Nice quite school, small classes.
- Close to Boston, possibility of internships.
Cons- I've been in small classes my whole life, might want change.

Northeastern University
Pros- Coop program is great.
Right in the center of Boston
Cons- City life could be too hectic.
I only got accepted into Spring 2010 semester, which was a downer.

Waitlisted
Bentley University
Pros- Top choice, great atmosphere.
Cons- I was waitlisted there, and from what I've read they have not gone to the waitlist the past two years.

If anyone can recommend which college would propose the best outlook for a job, for a business graduate, please do.

If anyone can add any more pros and cons they can think of, that would also be helpful.

I never knew how stressful college choosing can be! It's a little overwhelming knowing that within a month I'm going to have to choose where I'm going to be the next 4 years.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Oh and I forgot to add the fact that my efc was very low, so financial aid would be decent for all colleges.

I would choose Stonehill. I think the pros definitely outweigh the cons there.

Honestly, Northeastern is the best school on your list – city life won’t be too hectic (you’ll be in college and focused on that, and on Northeastern’s campus) but it will be great to take advantage of all the things in Boston: night life, internships, public transportation, etc. Plus, reputationally speaking Northeastern is the best college on your list as well. The only reason I would not choose that is if my financial aid did not cover it adequately and there was another school on that list that covered my costs more adequately (or which I could afford bettter).

I would also choose U-Conn – it’s not as large as some large public universities, and the fact that it is in the middle of nowhere can be offset by the large size of the school. Huge D-I universities make their own fun  You didn’t say where you’re in-state.

Stonehill could also be a good choice, if you like small liberal arts colleges. It is also close to Boston, which is good for weekend fun. However, if you’re thinking you want to change to a larger atmosphere you may get bored or claustrophobic there.

I’d go with Northeastern.

Go with the cheapest option.

I’d go with Northeastern or UConn

I say UCONN. I am a big advocate of starting in the FALL. You make so many of your friends in the fall and you get in the swing of things with everyone else.

I would choose the cheapest option first, but all things being equal I would go to UCONN.

I think with your guys help I’ve narrowed it down to Uconn or Stonehill. Listening to what vociferous said, it does make sense that you make many of your friends the first semester of the school year. I feel like I’d be jumping into something new if I went to Northeastern, while everybody else has been there and known people for at least 4-5 months.

I have a open house to Uconn the 18th, then a open house to Stonehill the 22.

Uconn would be the cheaper option of the two for me, but it narrows down to the idea of if I want a small suburban college or a huge rural university.

Looks like it’s going to be a hectic month for me with this decision making.

And again, thanks for everyone’s advice.

Northeastern is deffinately the best choice. I was down there the other day, and the boston atmosphere deffinately won’t be too overwhelming. The school is beautiful plus you are connected to all the other schools in boston. The co-op is fantastic.

Stonehill is beautiful, unfortunately it’s not too well known because it’s a great school.

UCONN will most likely be overwhelming because it is absolutely enormous, you’re going to be in classes with 400 other ppl, not worth it trust me.
