Need help deciding which Texas school to transfer to.

I came to Texas Tech University not knowing much about what I would major. After my first semester I've decided I either want to do MIS (Business) or Computer Information Systems. From what I gather, in the same range of the in-state tuition as I have to pay at TTU, it seems like other Texas schools are not only closer to my home in Dallas but also offer a better program for my majors.

I'm having trouble deciding what the right choice is. Here's some potential schools:

UT, A&M, UTD, UTA, UTSA, UH.

1) What GPA would I need to transfer to these schools?
2) Which of these schools are best for both Business and the CIS major (which I think is a science or engineering? I'm not sure).

Also, I know UTSA and UTA have the CAP program but I'm guessing I can't enroll into that as a sophomore? Even then, I know their business school is super selective (though if they're CIS program is any good I could do that as well).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really need to figure it this out!

Bump, I guess? It has been a while.

Bump again. Surely someone here has some good insight on Texas programs.

You might have better luck posting your questions on the TX Colleges forum (under College Search & Selection, State forums).

And for your question about programs, the Business Majors and Math/CS Majors forums may be helpful.
