I am majoring in physics and I’m choosing between Harvey Mudd, WashU, Amherst, Rice, and Johns Hopkins. I’m leaning toward Harvey Mudd, but I’m feeling pretty overwhelmed and would really appreciate any input!!
Show us the money unless all are affordable to you.
Money’s not the issue–strength of physics department is
Harvey Mudd for physics. Congrats!
Okay, but before you send in that deposit slip…all are good schools…any tugs at all, say, west coast vs. east coast…urban vs. rural…cold vs warm? Have you been able to visit each college in person?
There is no objectively one right answer. They will all provide you an outstanding undergraduate physics education. You need to do some soul searching and determine FOR YOU in which environment YOU will thrive in… this will be different for different people. Only YOU know what is best for YOU.
