Hey everyone,

Need a bit of advice as to what would be a good suggestion to minor in (or possibly double major in). I'm currently at a community college majoring in communications. As of now, my plans are to try to transfer to USC Annenberg. I am in my schools honor program and hope to have a 4.0 by the time I transfer. I'm wondering if maybe minoring in graphics design would be a good idea. That said, I don't know too much about the subject. I figure it would be a good match with a comm degree though. I'm more interested in the digital media aspect of it all (CS4: In Design, Photoshop, illustrator, etc). Considering a communications degree can open me up to a variety of different career paths (advertising, marketing, PR, etc), I feel like a minor in graphics design (not sure if a minor in it is even possible?) would be a good fit. I've seen other programs such as Digital Media Design, and things like that. So I'm not sure if graphics design is something I should be looking into. Does anyone have any input or suggestions to offer on the topic?

Appreciate it, and thanks in advanced.

Edit: one more thing, if it makes a difference - I've been out of high school for about 5 years now. Right now I work in management for a fairly large US distributor. I think that my work experience, matched with a communications degree, and possibly something like graphics design or DMD would all blend well together. I'm just trying to make myself as versatile/desirable as possible to companies upon graduating.
