Okay so heres my situation
I did well in 9th grade (small private school) and took all honors. My gpa was about 3.7 unweighted

Now im at a large public high school, I had a rough time transitioning and still am, so i havent been really paying attention too much during classes etc and my grades have fallen. I'm now more worried about appearances and popularity, rather than grades. My gpa unweighted is 3.5 about (or going to be at end of year).
I'm taking all honors courses and AP US History.
I'm going to study a lot for the AP (which is in about two weeks) and hopefully get a 5. (My teacher is really good an 90 percent of kids in his class get a 5)

But next year I know I will be more focused and not be superficial etc. I'm taking a lot of hard classes next year but know I will be able to handle it. (AP Chem, AP Gov, and AP Chinese)

So next year if my gpa unweighted is really high, like 3.7+, and 1st half of senior year is also good, will good colleges forgive my downturn of grades in Sophmore year?

Also, what do you guys do to stay more concentrated and focused? Ever since transfering schools, I haven't been able to focus too much, and when I go home I find myself screwing around on the internet and procrastinating?

Sorry I know this is sorta long, but help would be appreciated.
