<p>You might be able to fool the adcoms about your basketball skills, but you won't be able to fool the coach. And the adcoms won't give an athletic boost to an applicant without a recommendation from the coach. Coaches basically submit a list to the committee of whom they want admitted.</p>
<p>At any given school, the person you need to impress about basketball is the coach. For you that may be at Div. III or NAIA.</p>
<p>As it is, I think at best your basketball experience will count as a regular EC and not as an athletic admission boost.</p>
