Need help finding a college.

Okay so,
GPA is about 3.95/4 converted from Olevels and Alevels
SAT was 1940,gonna retake in january.expecting around 2050+
extra-curriculars are limited but with top-notch volunteering experience as a volunteer, and volunteer manager.
International student.
Applied to NYU EA(bad decision, did it anyway)
will apply to Uchicago in RD as nothing to lose.

Course want to pursue:
Undergraduate major in either Accounting or Economics.

I need help finding reputable universities(great future prospects of job or Masters from an IVY). But the condition is that I need would need finAid or a merit Scholarship. My parents can pay around $10k , rest must be scholarship or finAid.
Really need help finding a uni, suggestions please.

NYU is ED, not EA. If it’s a bad decision, change it to RD. Especially if you need tons of FA, as NYU is not known for it’s generosity. I know you can break the contract if they don’t provide sufficient aid, but you really don’t want to have to do that.

some of the very few American schools that give some aid to international students:

Your SAT is not going to give you much chance at the big money you need. Have a backup plan.

Your scores are low so the generous schools may be out of your reach. But I think the liberal arts schools could still snatch you up with aid. Check out the University of Richmond; its accounting program is AMAZING. Try Colgate too. Good luck!
