Hey, just wondering if anybody could point me in the right direction. My D is a junior in HS and would like to get more info on schools in Europe and Canada. We have tried the internet but can't seem to find a site or a book that is really detailed. Thanks!

I suggest going over to the International Students’ section of CC.

Regarding Canada, I recommend looking for information on Mcgill and U of Toronto.
For Europe I only know of Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College of London and St. Andrews.

A couple of American LAC’s

The American University Of Paris
[Welcome to The American University of Paris](http://www.aup.edu)

Franklin College - Institute for European Studies
[Franklin College](http://www.fc.edu)

There are 13 Canadian universities and and a like amount of European universities in the list of Collegiate Choice Walking Tours Videos at [Collegiate Choice Walking Tours Videos - college videos, campus tours, college guides, college planning, college admissions](http://www.collegiatechoice.com)

If you take a look at the website of the closest consulate of the country that you are interested in, you should find a link to information about higher education in that county. There also should be an officer at that consulate who is responsible for disseminating information about its higher ed. opportunities. If there isn’t a dedicated education officer, the culture officer should be able to help you. If there isn’t a local consulate (likely cities are Chicago, Miami, Boston, Los Angeles, etc.), then visit the website of the consulate in Washington, DC.

Sorry I am just getting back on. Thanks so much for your help. This is definitely enough info to get me started.

- These Canadian schools are all reputable. If your D is interested in LACs, add Mount Allison to the list as well.
