Need Help Finding New Major, Maybe business?

In December of 2012, I graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology. I was originally planning on going to grad school for a Masters in counseling. However, I really started loosing interest in psychology ½ way through my junior year. The focus on research and data analysis killed me. I was not good at the stuff and it was boring as hell. I just decided to get a bachelors degree since I was already so far into it.

Right now, I work at a mental institution (nut house) as a mental health tech (aka ghetto babysitter). The job is TERRIBLE (low pay, long hours, no breaks, awful clients, no room for advancement, etc). I tried applying for state civil service positions, but the economy is still bad and openings for those positions are few and far between. Yes, I am aware that a BS in psych isn’t much of a job magnet. That’s why I’m writing this post. I have decided that there is no way around going back to school.

Would it be better to do a different undergrad major? Or a non-psychology graduate program? Regardless of what I go back for, I need a field that meets the following criteria:

• Does not require extremely hard math/science classes (I’m not strong at math, the most I could do is probably low level calculus)
• Nothing in the legal or education field
• Field isn’t overflowing with people (like the fields of criminal justice and psychology)
• Field is expected to grow and have more job openings as time goes on
• A degree in this major will land you a solid job with a bachelors degree, not a field where grad school is unavoidable or a field where you have to beg for a job (like with psych)
• Want to avoid fields that require you to work weekends or some other retarded schedule
• Recent graduate can reasonably expect to make at least $30,000 (with benefits) starting out, with significant opportunity to advance up the ladder as time goes on (at least 60k later in the career)
• I could get a degree in this field in 2 ½ years or less (I already have a lot of credits which could satisfy gen ed and elective requirements)

So far, I am considering nursing (RN), IST (hybrid major that meshes computer science with business), perhaps accounting (not sure if it’s my thing or not, but I never tried it), and maybe something in business (I don’t have any experience with business, so I’m just guessing). I’m trying to stay away from the liberal arts since they all seem to be low-paying and lead to garbage jobs. The healthcare field seems to be expanding pretty rapidly, so I’m open to something there.
