Need help finding Public Universities w/good ART program

<p>The states I am looking in are TN, CA, CO, VA and NC and any other close areas. Does anybody know of any big public universities that have really good art programs in those areas?</p>

<p>I would prefer a major in illustration, but I haven't been able to find any public schools with that other than East Carolina.</p>

<p>William and Mary has an excellent art program. Studios overlooking lake matoaka.</p>
