Need Help for a Decision. TRANSFER FROM CC?

So, basically I am in a slight dilema. I need help making a decision. First, I'll explain my grades. I am a junior in HS and I have gotten all A's basically my entire life. I have taken a few AP's and right now I have a 4.15 or something. I have been in a sport my entire HS career and also I am involved in a few extracurriculars: Youth and Government (since sophmore year) and United in Camp Harmony (it's a charity I provide for). Okay, so basically I have a chance of getting a 30 on ACT.

MY DILEMA: About 40 people from my school are required to leave because there has been a cheating scandal. I haven't been involved in this scandal but some people mentioned my name when they were asked who was involved. IT'S A HUGE MESS. Basically 40 people were expelled haha (including me). They have no evidence. There's really no way out; I've talked to my lawyer, the police for 7 hours, school meetings for 5 hours at a time. But anyways there's this plea bargain; in the plea bargain they wipe away the record of expulsion and you can finish the semester (my first semester) but I would have to go to another school for second semester. I was wondering what I should do : 1. get my GED, go to communitty college for 2 years, transfer to a UC school (berkley or UCLA) 2. get my CHSPE and figure it out 3. go to another school then graduate :'( ANY OTHER RECOMMENDATIONS?!

Is it possible for you to finish off the semester at your current school then go to another HS and get your diploma? I’m not understanding why you would have to get a GED as opposed to your HS diploma, I do not know if there are different perceptions regarding GEDs or diplomas (you might want to research how each will alter your future, or if there is even much of a difference). As someone who went to a CC for 2 years, I can say that there are major pros and cons, especially if you go for 2 years. The pluses are that you will get a chance to redeem yourself (well in my case, if you have a 4.15 this does not apply to you?), and you spend less money. The downside is that adjusting to a 4-year after 2 years at a CC is terribly difficult, if one has the option I would recommend that he/she go straight to a 4-years IF POSSIBLE or spend a year at a CC. I recommend a year because some credits may not transfer to a 4-year so if those credits don’t transfer, that is essentially a loss of money, time and effort for the credits that were not accepted. Also, starting at a 4-year as a sophomore gives one more access to opportunities and really time to adjust to a different atmosphere. If saving money is motivation for a CC and you would rather be there for 2 years, then I hope that you have some clear ideas of possible majors because you do not want to be a junior with a crap-ton of credits that cannot be applied to your desired degree.

What is CHSPE?

Another school for HS? well if it is possible and your record will be wiped away then what are the cons for that option? Would you not be able to apply to 4-years?
