FBI WEBSITE:

"Language
To qualify under the Language Program, you must have a BS or BA degree in any discipline and be proficient in a language that meets the needs of the FBI."

I plan on completing my Farsi language studies by the end of high school and and I also want to learn Arabic in college, although there are no colleges i like that offer it as a major. In the above statement from the FBI site, does that mean I need to major in a language of literally "any discipine" and just have to know foreign languages (which i will)

It means you can major in anything and in addition to having a BS or BA in anything, you need to be fluent in a language that the FBI needs. Someone recently mentioned to me that the FBI hires people proficient in Native American languages.

One FBI agent I know was an Accounting major. After several years working for various companies, that person was hired to do forensic accounting for the FBI.

Don’t major in the language. Major in something that may actually help you do a job in the FBI. They can hire out for simple translation tasks. What they need are people who can think that also speak the language. Go for Criminal Justice, Math, Finance or Computer Science. The important thing on the language is to be proficient. One does not need a college major in a language to do so. If you can demonstrate proficiency, you don’t need to even take 1 college course in the language. I would suggest you maybe minor in the language. Most important that you have training in a skill the FBI needs. (mostly analysts)
