Hi
I am need some information on cornell university transfer. Do they look at specific factors? It would be great if someone who has been admitted as Cornell Transfer student to point out few things that made them standout.
Thanks

you need essays to show interest, a fairly high gpa (3.7+ is good), ECs and strong LORs. i think that’s pretty standard for applying to any good school. were you looking for something else? i’m not really sure what you meant by “specific factors”

No thanks. I needed to know whether SAT’s and TOEFL’s matter as much when someone is transferring.

Yes, SATs are considered when a student is applying to Cornell.

^ not at the contract colleges, though if you did well, you can submit them

Thanks. Is it better to transfer at the end of freshman year or sophomore year? What is the best time to apply for a transfer if you have a good G.P.A?

Maintaining a 3.7 GPA after two years is certainly better than maintaining a 3.7 GPA after one year. However, if you have 3.7+ GPA after your freshman year, still apply, It’s possible you’ll get in.

^ disagree. if you didn’t have solid HS stats, then apply at the end of your soph year
