<p>Try the ACT. Get a practice book with tests. The front should have helpful hints for taking the test.</p>

<p>On the sentence completions, don’t be afraid to omit the last 2-3 questions in each section if you don’t know what the words mean since they are the hardest. You are probably answering too many questions and getting too many extra points taken off. Once you have spent some time with your new books you can try to answer more questions when you take the SAT again.</p>
