Need help for Uc transfer

Hi everyone,

I am an immigrant from China. In China, I had been studying in an four-years university for 2 years, and after that I dropped the university and immigrated to U.S.A.

I have been studying in a california cc for 2 years, and submited the application last Nov. for Uc 2009 fall transfer. When I filled out the application, I did put the experience of studying in the Chinese University. But yesterday I received an email from "admissions-review@ucop.edu ", requesting me to provide the transcript from that Chinese university. The truth is that the university in China works a very different way than the college in USA. The former students can not get their transcripts unless they go back to school in person. This rule means that I can not give my transcript to the UC in a short time.

All of the units that I use to transfer are coming from the ccc. I didnot use any unit in the Chinese university to apply for the transfer.

My question is that is it going to affect my chance to transfer to Uc if I can not turn in this transcript?

please give me some ideas and opinions, thank you!!!

That’s a tough question, I say the best thing you should do is contact the UC’s and inquire them about it over the phone.

Yeahm, I don’t think many people are going to be able to help you with that one. You’re going to have to contact UC and talk to them about it.

yea just call them, or give them a proof that u went to that college in china, for example like a picture maybe? hmm idk ><

Thank you guys, I already sent an email back to uc, hopefully they can understand my situation.

hi, did you admitted by us at last?
