I can't find anything about AP policy on the Stern site besides that you have to talk with an academic advisor. I signed up for Calc BC, Physics C, and And Lit. But I heard that Stern doesn't give credit for Calc. If this is true, then I'm gonna go get my $82 back.

buuuuuuuuummmmmmmmp

My Sternie roommate isn't sure. But it won't get you out of the math requirement, so it doesn't really matter - you'll still have to take a math class.

i'm also taking BC calc this year and it is true that you have to the freshman calc requirement for Stern- Calculus and Algerbra w/ Application to Business and Economics. i'm still taking the BC exam though

Its true.. stern does not give credit for it... you will have to take statisics and calculus even if you took it. that is what i have heard...

yepp its true..you dont get credit which is why i canceled my ap exam today..

The Stern Advanced Standing Policy for the class of 2009.

It may change for the class of 2010 and I believe it will for statistics.

I may be biased as an Actuarial Science major, but you guys, math is really important!
You need at the very least have a decent grasp on calculus.
It will give you such a leg up on all the other finance majors who can't do math.
But Stern recently changed their math AP policy to reflect this.
However, APs will get you out of natural science, and that's the worst one.
