This is my current situation I don’t like the school I,m attending right now Miami dade college and I miss living on campus at my school florida memorial university but the reason I had left the school was because they told me I lost my scholarship after I finished my spring semester and so then I had to transfer to mdc but now i wanna transfer out of mdc to a different university and so im wondering can I get my scholarship back from my old school if I reapply to it now because one friend of mine told me I could write an appeal letter to get it back but im worried because I left the school for two semesters will they still give me the chance to repeal the scholarship decision??? The scholarship requirement was that I kept a 3.5 at the end of the spring term but I ended up with a 3.3
Florida memorial university would have policies on how to retain a scholarship.
The only way you will know is if you ask them. I doubt it, to be honest. If they let you leave with a 3.3 they much have wanted you to have a 3.5. Sometimes they tell you what you would need to return, such as ‘go to a community college and get a 3.6 and you will be readmitted with a scholarship’. Did they tell you how your scholarship could be reinstated?
Every school is different. You would need to specifically look at the scholarship requirements for Florida Memorial University, as stated above. No one here is likely to have knowledge of that particular school’s requirements for your particular situation. I frankly would be very surprised if they’d renew your scholarship after it was lost due to grades and you then spent a couple semesters away, but it would certainly be worth a phone call to their scholarship office to inquire.
Your question needs to be directed to the appropriate administrator at your old school. Nobody here can answer it for you.
I’m confused…do,you want to,go back to,your first college?
